  • can you leave this thermometer in the oven?

I wouldn't. It is an instant read thermometer and not meant to read the ambient temp.

  • What makes this thermometer better than the Weber instant read thermometer?

1.Customer Sevice 2.lifetime warranty 3. 6 second read time 4. Superior construction 5. Better Design 6. No questions asked return

  • Is this thermometer really waterproof? In addition to measuring temperature of cooked meats, I'm looking for an accurate unit to measure hot liquids.

    Hi alex,

Yes it is water proof... not enough for the dish washer, but if you wash it off or drop it in the water... you will be fine. As long as the liquid your measuring is less than 450deg you will be fine... thats the highest temp the Beastometer will read.

  • How to change the battery in my Beastometer?

    Hi Elizabeth,

Unsrew the round insert on the back of the Beastometer and replace the battery with a LR44

  • I bought a Beastometer a year or so ago. The best thermometer I have ever used. I was wiping the probe off and the whole probe came out of the body. The wires look like they broke. How can I get a replacement, and where can I send the broken one?

    Hi Joe,

Sorry for any issue with your beastometer. Send me your adrress and contact info at and I'll send a new one asap. Don't worry about the damaged one.
    Thanks for your patience.
